April 2, 2016
A British intellectual attending the Austrian Economics Research Conference at the Mises Institute this weekend informs us that when Cambridge University in England recently celebrated the 600th anniversary of the university’s great library, students thoroughly brainwashed in cultural Marxism protested the celebration. Their complaint was that being surrounded by all those great books was intimidating and frightening to them and nothing to celebrate.
Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo [send him mail] is a former professor of economics at Loyola University Maryland and a longtime member of the senior faculty of the Mises Institute.
