Many of you have heard this story about a woman who paid to have a plane display a banner which read: “Thanks for the downgrade, you should all be fired.” It was flown over Manhattan yesterday. Unfortunately, many people thought that the woman’s message was directed at Standard & Poor’s since the company is headquartered in Manhattan.
Wrong. It was meant for the criminals who sit in the United States Congress. So why, you may ask, didn’t she hire a plane to fly it over Washington D.C.? Because Washington D.C. is a no-fly zone.
