Congressman Wants You to Pay the Taxes He Didn’t

Former Illinois congressman Mel Reynolds has been charged with failing to file tax returns between 2009-2012. Of course, he wanted every other American to pay his taxes so he could have money to spend on welfare programs. He went to Congress in 1993 but resigned in 1995 after being “convicted on sex related charges, including possession of child pornography and having sex with a then-16-year-old campaign volunteer.” While in prison, “he was also convicted on federal bank fraud charges.” More recently, Reynolds was arrested in Zimbabwe for overstaying his visa and was found to be in possession of pornographic videos, which is a crime in Zimbabwe. He also didn’t pay $24,000 in hotel charges. He was deported to South Africa.

“Reynolds was succeeded in Congress by Jesse Jackson Jr., who was just released from prison to home confinement after being convicted of campaign fraud.’

I guess any vile creature can be elected to Congress.
