Re: your communication to me of 4 December 2020

Dear Ainsley Brown

Thank you for your clarification of the new no-tolerance policy instituted on 16 November 2020 at Costco locations regarding your dress code. I apologize for being unaware of the change prior to being rudely accosted by the two harridans posted at the entrance at 10:09 hrs 1 December.

Gradually over our 30 year Costco membership my hearing has degenerated to the degree of a permanent disability.

For that reason and in order to function near normally I utilize various strategies to communicate e.g. electronic behind the ear devices, reading lips, body language and rudimentary signing. I cannot wear a surgical face mask due to the straps interfering with the devices nor can I read the lips of a person wearing a face covering.

Due to the issuing of ukases by ignorant and petty authority figures, my hearing aid provider has supplied me with an explanation card addressing the issue of my being unable to submit to the current compliance kabuki. Prior to 16 November 2020 the above had sufficed at your business location.

I have noted that your business makes an effort to comply with the Federal “Americans with Disabilities Act” regarding the reserving of convenient parking, providing electric ambulatory vehicles and allowance of  service animals. For that reason I am puzzled by your insistence on the wearing of more or less useless facial coverings.

In any event, I thank you for refunding my recently submitted membership fee without my having to request it.

Incidentally, I would call your attention to this non political presentation by an eminent scientific authority. It is well worth your valuable time: <https://odysee.com/@clive:6/Mike-Yeadon-Unlocked-Why-Lockdown-was-a-mistake:5?fbclid=IwAR2sh7hKvF9F_9Xa62E6jkuDZNlG4soFkV6HLEeodg28LP7zq3qOB82TUN0>
