As you watch Thursday’s Joe Biden’s inflammatory rant at Independence Hall in Philadelphia ((sight of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States) just remember Harry Truman when he ran for president against the liberal Rockefeller Republican Thomas Dewey in 1948. Truman charged that Dewey was the front man for the same sort of “powerful reactionary forces” that orchestrated the rise of Hitler in Germany.
Trouble is, Truman was right.
