I was in a Wal-Mart yesterday and you could barely navigate through the store because every one of the long aisles was 100% full of boxes of products stacked about five or six feet high. Never seen it so cluttered in any store. Is the supply chain problem created by the pandemityranny over, or was Wal-Mart rewarded by King Brandon for its new-found wokeness?
UPDATE: Debbie writes: “I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and needed an item in the hardware aisle, the whole of which was being used for storing incoming boxes. The young clerk said they were stocking up for anticipated worsening supply chain problems, had no place to put the stock, and no one to do it.”
Just more of “the great reset” in other words. The enviro-communists have always believed that capitalism produces too much stuff and not enough government (John Kenneth Galbraith’s life’s work); producing all that stuff destroys the planet; getting around in our cars gives us too much freedom and destroys the planet with global warming/cooling/climate change; and therefore, we need fewer people, fewer products, less freedom, less affluence, and more dependence on the state under their direction. Another way of describing this would be “the Brandon administration.”
