Writes a Tim McGraw:
Hi Lew,
Well, some excitement in Healdsburg, California, today! I know well that taco truck that always is parked on a wide shoulder of the road at the Lytton Springs exit of Highway 101 just north of Hburg. (The Lytton Springs still exist today, though no one uses the water anymore).
Of course the authorities, nee open air prison guards, do not explain why they locked down the Santa Rosa Hospital (which they don’t name) where they took the victims. (My guess is that it was Sutter Hospital).
The authorities don’t explain why they shut down a major artery, well, really, the ONLY real road in Sonoma County for over four hours for a shooting.
I’m sure the cops made lots of overtime money from the incident. And they haven’t a clue as to who the shooters were.
Thanks for nothing. Thanks for the grief. Thanks for the traffic jams and lost time and energy.
Lew, has our police state truly gotten out of control? Have the cops lost all logic? Don’t they understand who has to work to pay the taxes that support the cops’ generous salaries, pensions, and benefits?
Just like ancient Rome, the state is eating its own tail.
