CNN’s Brian Stelter had former CIA agent Larry Johnson on his show, “Reliable Sources” recently to discuss the Trump wiretapping story, and RT came up. Johnson exposed CNN’s pre-interview procedure ON-AIR. Stelter called RT “a Kremlin propaganda channel,” and Johnson disagreed with him. Then Stelter questioned how it was inappropriate for any American to go on RT, didn’t acknowledge Johnson’s answers, changed the topic and cut him off. Many of the august persons who appear on the LRC website such as Lew Rockwell, Ron Paul, Daniel McAdams, and Jeff Deist, have been guests on RT. Are they all hapless tools and abject toadies of the nefarious Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin? Or do they recognize RT as an unfiltered, spontaneous and unrehearsed broadcasting platform which does not engage in pre-censorship of opinion — something that does not occur on the ideological gatekeeper regime media of Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, or ABC.
