“Just Send Me to Hell or New York City . . .

January 7, 2017

. . .  it would be about the same to me.”  So sang Hank Williams, Jr. in “If Heaven Ain’t a Lot Like Dixie.”  I thought of this when I heard of Hillary Clinton’s latest trial balloon about how she’s thinking of becoming the next mayor of New York City, to follow the current mayor, a self-described communist.

(If this song is not sufficiently politically incorrect for your taste, then also listen to Hank’s “If the South Woulda Won”).
