A Business That Never Becomes Obsolete
July 20, 2015
Meeting a Mises University student today from the University of California at Berkeley reminded me of the last time I was there about 15 years ago. A sidewalk was littered with old, gray-bearded hippies sitting on the ground selling “Stop the Bombing” bumper stickers. I first thought that these guys had killed so many brain cells with drugs and alcohol in their youth, that they thought the U.S. government was still bombing Vietnam. But then on second thought, I decided that their bumper stickers were indeed current, and always have been. After all, the U.S. government has been bombing somebody somewhere in the world almost constantly for the past century or longer.
