re: A Delayed response to war

Anthony the increasing tendency for war to be treated as just another partisan issue is one of the most disgusting features of modern politics, and it effects both sides of the aisle. Just as some Republicans attacked Clinton’s Bosian war with language they would condemn as treasonous if used to attack Bush’s Iraq war, some Democrats who oppose Bush’s war for democracy supported Clinton’s crusades for “human rights” and called Republicans unpatriotic for questioning Clinton’s habit of bombing a Mid-Eastern country at key moments in the impeachment saga.
