President Trump’s Overbearing Arrogance – an Omen for Empire’s Collapse?
March 11, 2026
The US President in speeches or interview, when asked about respect for international laws, says openly, “I don’t care, I’m above the law, I can do whatever I want,” and he literally does whatever he wants. See Venezuela and now Iran, and so much more.
The same President tells Iran, which considers Mojtaba Khameneni, the assassinated Supreme Leader’s son, as potentially becoming his father’s successor (supported by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps – IRGC) – “I will nominate your next Supreme Leader, not you.”
This President, called Donald Trump, the same day, 28 February 2026, of the unprovoked attack and of the Supreme Leader’s assassination, by his heart-to-heart buddy Netanyahu / Mossad, calls a party at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, for billionaires. They pay an entrance fee of one million US-dollars per head, for refinancing Trump’s company PAC MAGA Inc. Donald Trump, was seen dancing with a golden tie.
PAC means Political Action Committee. It is a type of organization that raises and spends money to influence elections by supporting or opposing candidates, ballot measures, or legislation. PACs amplify billionaire-donor influence in U.S. politics and are often severely criticized – to little avail. All this may be called overbearing extreme arrogance, or hubris.
Hubris describes someone with extreme, dangerous, or excessive pride that often leads to a downfall. The term originates from Greek tragedy to describe defying the gods. Now, it typically means overstepping human limitations by carrying out violent acts caused by excessive pride, ignoring warnings, resulting in failure or ruin.
The Roman Emperor, Julius Caesar, was assassinated over 2000 years ago, on March 15, 44 BC, a date also known as the “Ides of March”, signaling often symbolically the start of wars or new conflicts. The reason for Caesar’s murder was his extreme hubris, attempting to conquer the world, directing most resources to conquests in foreign lands, but letting Rome, the “home country” rot.
As the US-Israeli war against Iran wages on, with so far, no predictable outcome, President Trump was meeting on Saturday, 7 March 2026, at National Doral, near his Mar-a-Lago estate, with some 12 Latin American primarily right-wing allies, to discuss his plan, “Shield of the Americas”.
The summit is presented as countering Chinese influence, combating drug cartels labeled as “narco-terrorists,” curbing illegal migration, and forming a regional coalition for security and prosperity. Discussions also include US oversight of Venezuelan oil post-Maduro’s removal and potential interventions in Cuba. Imagine, inciting LAC leaders to side with him, Trump, against their LAC brothers, Venezuela and Cuba!
Principal attendees are leaders from Argentina (Javier Milei), El Salvador (Nayib Bukele), Ecuador (Daniel Noboa), Paraguay (Santiago Peña), Honduras, Bolivia, and others like Chile’s president-elect José Antonio Kast. Left-leaning nations such as Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia were not invited.
The so-called “Doral Charter”, signed by these Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) leaders, underlines the” Donroe Doctrine”, Trump’s version of the Monroe Doctrine.
It is amazing how Trump’s arrogance seems to succeed in convincing LAC leaders that the “Shield of the Americas” anti-drug trade document will work, when all LAC nations also know that the US is:
- the largest drug dealer in the world, both in monetary and drug quantitative terms; and
- the “Doral Charter” signed or not, is sheer hypocrisy, as US domestic demand fuels the trade cartels supply. The initiative emphasizes hemispheric enforcement without addressing U.S. consumption directly.
There are an estimated 25 million global cocaine users in 2023 (latest United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) World Drug Report), led by North America and surging.
Will the rest of LAC go along with the new “Donroe Doctrine” which aims at controlling their nations, first by words of “security”, later gradually by an ever-growing digital control technocracy, making LAC to a new-old backyard, depriving the LAC countries largely of their sovereignty, politically, economically and in trade?
Or will this be another hubris choking-point that may bring down the self-nominated naked emperor?
And then there are the Epstein files in which Trump’s name appears prominently as one of the top mentioned “contacts”.
What goes up, must come down. Sometimes abruptly.
These extreme arrogant hubris-moments accumulate, and so do the predictable failures, inherent in leaders with extreme, overbearing, excessive arrogance, overstepping human limitations as they please.
The Greek experience has played out in several historic events, and may hit again with Trump – a downfall of his hubris-empire? Hot air? – But sadly, again, thousands, if not millions of deaths, if not stopped fast.
