New Rules for Republican Progressives

Seems like forever that Republican Progressives have been able to get reelected by satisfying cronies and using cronies’ donations to pay for misleading or even deceitful ads.

Now these Progressives have found that they very likely need to satisfy activists on X so Elon Musk won’t fund primary opponents. Even if Trump dissuades Musk, these Progressives will need to satisfy local activists so grassroots voters won’t select these Progressives’ freedom caucus opponents in primaries. Plus, in any event these Progressives won’t be able to keep borrowing and inflating foreverGreat Inflations and Great Depressions get caused by incumbents, and both events make voters send incumbents packing.

Republican Progressives, and also activists, media, and voters, find themselves in new territory now. Plus, activists, media, and voters are going to keep learning, and this means that the rules for Republican Progressives are going to keep changing.

The New Rules

In the end, activists and voters will reject all the Progressives who keep trying to sell them supposed laws, and spending, that are unconstitutional:

Support the Constitution.

  • Bills and statutes are unconstitutional if they (1) mislead, (2) use unenumerated powers, (3) delegate, (4) grab executive power, (5) grab judicial power, or (6) are noncritical, complex, or long, or help make the total corpus of law incomprehensibly complex or long.

Use your constitutional powers.

  • Legislators pass bills for laws, which consist solely of rules and sanctions. Executives enforce constitutional laws and opinions, by controlling organizational structures, layoffs and hiring, projects, and operations. Judges write opinions on cases.

Make appropriations constitutionally.

  • Legislators have a duty to limit the overall take by passing an overall total appropriation. They do not have a line-item power of the purse, which would be an unconstitutional grab of executive power.

Pay debts constitutionally.

  • Progressives make the Constitution powerless by not using their constitutional powers to limit people in governments, in a thoroughly planned and coordinated, systemic, open rebellion against we the people and our Constitution.
  • According to the 14th Amendment, “[N]either the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States . . . [A]ll such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.”
  • A full 99.98% of the supposed national debt was incurred by Progressives in rebellion against the United States. A small portion of this is owed to USA retirees, whose private property had been taken for public use, for which the 5th Amendment requires just compensation.
  • The rest of this supposed national debt is illegal and void, and the Constitution requires that it shall not be assumed or paid.

The Corresponding Actions

For Republicans’ current Progressives, this is a time for choosing.

They can remain apex predatortyrants and go the way of the Federalists and the Whigs. Or they can increase freedom, and get reelected if eligible and willing or else leave a legacy that’s good.

The new rules call for corresponding actions:

Support the Constitution.

Use your constitutional powers.

  • Legislatively, never pass executive orders. Do sponsor or cosponsor, and vote for, bills that are constitutional and that in your judgment are good for now. Especially, support bills to formally repeal the many unconstitutional statutes.
  • Also take responsibility for passing rules-of-engagement cards, passing declarations of war, and developing treaties if any are constitutional and in your judgment are good for now.
  • Advise and consent to appointments based solely on whether you anticipate that a nominee will support the Constitution by using his constitutional powers against others in governments to limit them.
  • Never grab executive power by conducting oversight. Impeach summarily to remove government people’s privileges in order to protect we the people’s rights.
  • Executively, sign constitutional executive orders.

Make appropriations constitutionally.

Pay debts constitutionally.

  • Legislatively, formally stop taking any more property from people for Social Security and stop promising any additional increases in just compensation for the property that has been taken so far.
  • Formally void all debt incurred by rebellion and not owed to USA retirees.
  • Executively, begin selling off the preponderance of assets that the Constitution delegates no power to own, to pay just compensation for past Social Security takings.
  • Stop paying interest and principal on all debt incurred by rebellion and not owed to USA retirees.

Wake Up Call

The Constitution reflects the widespread knowledge among the ratifying generation that what best promotes the general welfare is to severely limit governments.

Go and do the same.

Republican Progressives, if what drives you is ideology, then stop and learn what works. If what drives you is whatever it will take to get reelected or have a legacy that’s good, then pay close attention to the above look ahead. In either case, take this look ahead to heart. This is your wake up call.

Either change, or lose.
