The Important Things in Life Are Too Precious To Lose

“If you could possibly understand how precious and powerful your experience of this one lifetime as yourself is, you wouldn’t be trying to go anywhere else.
If you could know the perfection of time and space,
You would slow each moment down
To drain every possible nuance of juice and flavor from it.
When you leave this place, your body and mind and the earth which holds you, you will look back and only wish you had known the immense richness that you hurried through trying to find other better states of being.
But this is the best bite.
Heaven is here.
Nirvana is now.
As soon as you know that for sure
Your life will never be the same again.
In fact, in every way it seeks to get your attention. begs you to awaken to the magic right before your eyes.”

Jacob Nordby

In the midst of all the uncertainty, the horror, the terror of the state, of personal heartbreak, and of the insanity that seems to be all-consuming during all of our lives today, beauty and joy is all around us. It is hidden much of the time, but can be found in an instant if one is to look closely enough and find it. While so many have struggled to find the essence of life, only the few have reached that pinnacle. I think this is so terribly sad, because regardless of strife and the hardships of life, underneath is heaven on earth. If this could only be known to more, maybe, just maybe, a harmony among the many could find its way into the heart of our human existence. This is a goal worth seeking, and a goal if achieved that could bring about love and peace for the multitudes. This is not meant as any pronouncement of a societal utopia, because that can only exist within each of us; meaning the more that find happiness, the better off we will all be.

I am not writing this specifically due to this Christmas holiday, because that affects everyone differently if at all. But there is a magic that occurs this time of year, and I have never understood why this magic that is so fleeting, cannot live in our hearts all year long every year. During the heinous and evil time of  government’s World War I, a Christmas truce was observed by those who were told to hate and kill each other, and a day of peace, laughter, and frolicking commenced, only to end immediately after that short-lived voluntary unity. Why? Why do we hate each other when taught or told to do so? Why not love each other instead, not in the sense of fake or fraudulent hypocrisy, or due to some scheme, but in the sense of joy among men? Isn’t that a better way forward.

Over time, we live and observe so many different life changes, but seem to never figure out how to only seek and keep the best part of our lives. Instead, at least as it appears, the worst of mankind wins the day, and this should be unacceptable. We have ourselves, our thoughts, our dreams, and our love of life, so how can anything against times like these, interrupt and destroy our lives in favor of hatred? We have families, the most precious of gifts. We have children, the most innocent among us; who seem in most cases to find unconditional cooperation among themselves, and when strife does occur, they tend to forget quickly, and return to play. Why is it that we as adults never seem to grasp the nature of our own young children, and learn to play together as opposed to war against each other?

After all, are we not, every one of us, human? We do have much in common, regardless of what is presented by those evil among us, who desire to create false fear, division, and separation, in order to gain power and control over us. Why does society as a whole accept this purposeful attempt to pit us against each other instead of finding ways to get along? The blame for this is on both sides of course, because if those who are evil are not allowed to rule, they would have no influence on us. If those who are ruled choose not to accept or obey orders from these oligarchs, the ability to crush them could be easily achieved, if only due to large numbers. If the ruling class is stricken down, or if the masses decide not to accept their own slavery, the result could only be one that would serve as a major step toward a life filled with more opportunity, passion, love, and harmony. This is not a pipedream, it is not just flowery language meant to temporarily soothe the soul of only the few, it is not the rant of any hippie or drug induced homeless peacenik;  it is, or should be, our way of life.

Many of you might question my motives here, but rest assured they are sincere. I do write continuously against the wicked state, against rule by one over another, against war and aggression, and against any evil act that undermines freedom. I attempt to present truths to hopefully give some ammunition to strengthen the drive of the masses in order to end the tyranny that is brutally foisted on them. But I never ignore or forget my undying love of life. I do this without regard for unfounded hurt ‘feelings,’ without regard for criticism, and without regard for risk. It is the only way as I see it, that I can do everything possible within my legitimate ability, and without harm to others, to help present a true picture of our current state of slavery, with the intent only to help others help themselves. No relief is possible unless and until each individual claims his right to be free, and decides to not take it anymore.

Think about the unbelievable wonder of family, friends, neighbors, and all others everywhere. Think about the beauty of nature, and life of all kinds that live and exist on this magnificent earth. Think about the joy of experiencing every moment as precious, instead of concentrating only on the dark side of life. Be astonished by the sheer majesty of all we encounter, and all the adventure that has gone missing from our lives that could be reawakened.

Take this time to reflect only on the good, and ways to keep it within your heart and soul. There is plenty of time to understand the evil in life, but concentrating only on that evil will consume even the most optimistic among us, and poison the mind. Spend time with family, go fishing, hiking, and watch the splendor of all life everywhere. Eat wonderful foods from around the world, and explore other cultures. Listen and absorb the wonder of music. Travel and experience life through the eyes of others. Be aware of everything around you, instead of hiding in the world of technology and isolation. Study and learn about things that are unknown to you, and always seek to improve only self, for as you improve yourself, others will follow your path, because you will have found the elusive peace.

“It’s amazing to see the beauty of the world. It’s so beautiful and so brutal. It’s a reminder that every second of life is precious.”
