Subject: N95 Basketball League

Good afternoon,

We have been given clearance to offer a basketball league at the [Sun Devils Fitness Complex], the “N95 Basketball League”. Participants are required to wear an N95 Mask while playing. No other masks will be accepted. The SDFC does not have N95 Masks on-site for participants; they must be provided by players.

This league is going to be played on Friday afternoons at Downtown, Poly, Tempe, and West, beginning Friday, 2/18. There is very limited space available. If registration fills up quickly, we will look at options at expanding the league, but that is not guaranteed and is subject to facility availability.

Registration is currently available online at FitnessOnline.asu.edu. Teams must have 4 members registered online before being “confirmed” into the league.

All leagues are “Open”; there are no restrictions based on gender. There are competitive and recreational divisions available.

The leagues will be self-officiated. Staff will only be on-site to enforce mask policies. Games will be stopped if participants are not appropriately wearing their N95 Masks. Multiple infractions will result in cancellations of the leagues.

We will send out formalized rules in the next week or so to registered participants.
