A Dialogue From Plato Describing Quantum Physics in 400 BC – Just Like Nikola Tesla Did

“And upon the Earth are animals and men, some in a middle region, others (elementals) dwelling about the air as we dwell about the sea; others in islands which the air flows round, near the continent; and in a word, the air is used by them as the water and the sea are by us, and the ether is to them what the air is to us. Moreover, the temperament of their seasons is such that they have no disease (Paracelsus disputes this), and live much longer than we do, and have sight and hearing and smell, and all the other senses, in far greater perfection, in the same degree that air is purer than water or the ether than air. Also they have temples and sacred places in which the gods really dwell, and they hear their voices and receive their answers, and are conscious of them and hold converse with them, and they see the sun, moon, and stars as they really are.” – (source)

The above quote comes from Plato’s Phaedo, and it’s fascinating for multiple reasons, as are the works of other philosophers who seemed to have knowledge about the true nature of reality thousands of years before we started to discover similar things. How would they have known? There are so many intriguing mysteries of the past that are real head scratchers, like the fact that multiple Mesopotamian societies had knowledge of our solar system, the planets, their orbits, eclipses and much more, well before we ever did.

There are also fascinating descriptions about the nature of reality found throughout the ages, and it seems that quantum mechanics was described long ago, and ‘known’ of long before we ever stumbled across the field and named it ourselves.

Quantum mechanics is the study of matter at the smallest scale, and it’s weird because matter, at this scale, behaves and is governed by laws that are completely different from matter at a larger scale. Spooky things are observed that really make no sense, unless you factor consciousness into the equation. Quantum physics has opened the door to ‘non-material’ science, and the fact that empty space is not really empty, that it’s actually full of energy and that factors associated with consciousness can  have a measurable effect on our physical material world, is mind-altering and has huge implications. This is not just interpretation,  This has been demonstrated quite clearly by multiple experiments, like  the quantum double slit experiment. A paper published in the peer-reviewed journal Physics Essays by Dean Radin, PhD, explains how this experiment has been used multiple times to explore the role of consciousness in shaping the nature of physical reality. (source) “Observation not only disturbs what has to be measured, they produce it. We compel the electron to assume a definite position. We ourselves produce the results of the measurement.” (source)

This is why the legendary John Wheeler told us,  “No point is more central than this, that space is not empty, it is the seat of the most violent physics,” and it’s why multiple distinguished scientists gathered to emphasize that matter is not the only reality

“Space is actually not empty and it’s full of energy…The energy in space is not trivial there’s a lot of it and we can actually calculate how much energy there is in that space and that reality might actually come out of it. Everything we see is actually emerging from that space.”
– Nassim Haramein

The properties of space specifically have been postulated by many, from ancient Vedic philosophy, Eastern Mystics, various ancient civilizations throughout human history all the way to Descartes, Einstein, Newton and more. Humans are curious beings, and our quest to discover “what is” will never end.

“And they allowed Apollonius to ask questions; and he asked them of what they thought the cosmos was composed; but they replied; “Of elements.” “Are there then four?” he asked. “Not four,” said Larchas,  “but five.” “And how can there be a fifth,” said Apollonius, “alongside of water and air and earth and fire?” “There is the ether,” replied the other, “which we must regard as the stuff of which gods are made; for just as all mortal creatures inhale the wire, so do immortal and divine natures inhale the ether.” “Am I,” said Appollonius, “to regard the universe as a living creature?” “Yes,” said the other. – The Life of Apollonius of Tyana, Philostratus, 220AD (source)

Above is a massage describing this ’empty space,’ which many physicists refer to today as the quantum vacuum, or the ether.

According to Nikola Tesla, in his work Man’s Greatest Achievement,

All perceptible matter comes from a primary substance, or tenuity beyond conception, filling all space, the akasha or luminiferous ether, which is acted upon by the life giving Prana or creative force, calling into existence, in never-ending cycles all things and phenomena.”

One of the foremost thinkers and philosophers of all time, Manly P. Hall, describes Plato’s passage in his book, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, and it comes at a time where he is describing multiple ‘elementals’ which exist on our Earth, but inhabit the invisible world, existing in another vibration or the ether, if you will, but sometimes appearing in our ‘vibration’ as well. You can see that passage at the beginning of this article.

So, you see, ether seems to be a constant theme throughout history.

The fact that Plato/Socrates was aware of this reality, two of many ancients who were, thousands of years before we were, gives them (or him) even more credibility when describing its properties, and those that may dwell within this region of ‘space.’ Are these the ‘ghosts’ and ‘spirits’ that are supposedly seen by many today? Does what we label as ‘paranormal’ activity have anything to do this? Could these be extraterrestrial or extra dimensional beings that they were referring to?

Other realms of reality that our senses cannot pick up on have been written about for years, and again, other realms that our senses cannot pick up on have already been measured and detected. Supposed devices have even been manufactured that utilizes this knowledge in order to develop power generating machines.

“Much to my surprise, these concepts have been proven in hundreds of laboratories around the world, but have not really seen the light of day.”
–
Dr. Brian O’Leary, former NASA Astronaut and Princeton Physics Professor (source)

Other sources postulate that the ether makes up 90 percent of our reality, and it makes sense. Just look at the atom, the smallest observable piece of matter, it’s what everything else is made up of. An atom is almost all empty space, more than 99 percent of it to be exact. The kicker? That empty space is not useless, and from what we know now, “empty space” is really not “empty” at all.

Pictured below is O’leary with Tewari. He’s received praise from many, including legendary quantum physicist John Wheeler,  who admired his work.  You can review that correspondence here.

“Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point in the universe. This idea is not novel…We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who derives power from the earth; we find it among subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians….Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static, or kinetic? If static our hopes are in vain; if kinetic – and this we know it is, for certain – then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheel work of nature.” – Nikola Tesla (source)

The words  below come  from Tewari, who recently had a paper published in Physics Essays. The paper is entitled “Structural Relation Between The Vacuum Space and The Electron. You can access the full study here.

A century from now, it will be well known that: the vacuum of space which fills the universe is itself the real substratum of the universe; vacuum in a circulating state becomes matter; the electron is the fundamental particle of matter and is a vortex of vacuum with a vacuum-less void at the center and it is dynamically stable; the speed of light relative to vacuum is the maximum speed that nature has provided and is an inherent property of the vacuum; vacuum is a subtle fluid unknown in material media; vacuum is mass-less, continuous, non viscous, and incompressible and is responsible for all the properties of matter; and that vacuum has always existed and will exist forever….Then scientists, engineers and philosophers will bend their heads in shame knowing that modern science ignored the vacuum in our chase to discover reality for more than a century. – Tewari

Tewari also points out that dark matter has been mistaken, as he describes in his “Space Vortex Theory”:

The sketch below shows the Earth enclosed within a vacuum vortex. Unlike the ongoing concepts of vacuum to be “empty space”, “nothing-ness” and “Void-ness”, the Space Vortex Theory (SVT) defines the absolute vacuum to be a mass-less, continuous and incompressible fluid. The velocity fields in the underneath substratum (shown through directional arrows) create invisible forces to rotate the massive Earth around its axis and also carry the Moon in its orbit.

While the Earth is visible, the vacuum vortex substratum is invisible. This invisible substratum of cosmic energy, underneath and around the Earth, is mistakenly called “dark matter”. All planets and stars have similar vacuum vortices that rotate them axially. The vortices enclosing the galaxies impart axial rotation to their cores, as also the stars in them are carried in orbits. [Rene Descartes, the French mathematician and philosopher, predicted an Earth vortex and cosmic vortices of property-less fluid (Ether) in the 17th Century].

This paper presents a formulation of Absolute Principles for vacuum-space that enable revealing the process of creation of a stable electron and its known properties of mass and charge. Fundamental questions on the electron’s charge and mass are derived from first principles from the vacuum vortex of the electron’s structure. Also, generation of electrostatic, electromagnetic, and gravitational fields are shown to arise from the vacuum vortex structure of the electron. The electron and positron have been pinpointed to be the fundamental particles of matter.

The interesting part about Tewari is that, from his theory, he took it out of the theoretical realm by generating machinery based on the science, in the form of an electrical generator. A prototype of the machine was tested by Kirloskar Electric, a manufacturer of electrical generators in India. There, it exhibited 165% efficiency (over-unity), breaking our known laws of physics. You can watch a video of the machine and its verification in the film, Out of The Void. We have also been in contact with his family and him before his fairly recent passing, you can visit the website here.

The crazy thing is that it could explain where reality comes from; according to these scientists and others, it comes from ‘the ether.’ Perhaps consciousness is the next piece of the puzzle, but one thing is for certain, this goes well beyond the big bang theory.

Ether has got to be, once again, established, then there will be the meaningful understanding of physics, meaningful understanding of metaphysics, and meaningful understanding of spiritual processes.” – Tewari (source)

This kind of science is huge and represents what we’re currently in right now, the next scientific revolution: the acknowledgement of non-material science and its empirical validation of spirituality and metaphysics.

A declassified Defense Intelligence Agency unclassified document entitled “Warp Drive, Dark Energy & The Manipulation of Extra-Dimensions,” written and prepared for the agency by senior research physicist Richard K. Obousky, Ph.D. and Eric W. Davis, Ph.D, explains again, how the existence of the vacuum is not seen as trivial, and shows how what we now call Dark Matter might be mistaken for this realm of ether:

The key phrases here are: “We do not understand why it exists or how it is created; we simply know it provides an ever-present force on spacetime, causing the universe to expand. Indeed, recent high-precision experimental observations indicate dark energy may be a cosmological vacuum energy.”

The Takeaway. The Power of Human Consciousness Is Huge

Interesting to think about, isn’t it? How so many of our ancients had knowledge of things that were unable to be discovered without the use of our advanced technology is truly a mystery, and there are literally uncountable examples in historical literature that span thousands of years. It seems, in my opinion anyway, that humanity is moving towards an era where these understandings are returning to Earth, they are emerging again, and at a time where we desperately need them. These concepts have huge implications, and we’ve written about the non-material world in depth in multiple articles

“Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.”
– (“The Mental Universe” ; Nature 436:29,2005)”

This is not theoretical stuff, it’s showing that we live in a spiritual world and our reluctance to accept this simple premise comes from the fact that we’ve been hit with the scientific dogma for a long time, preventing us from being open to ‘new’ concepts of reality that almost went lost but are once again discovering.

This phrase Idham thadhakshare parame vyoman comes from ancient Vedic scripture, and it means “the aakaash is not destructible, it is the primordial absolute substratum that creates cosmic matter.

Human consciousness, our perception of reality, the way we perceive and feel, our thoughts, feelings and emotions are key game changers when it comes to transforming our human experience. Compassion, love, inner peace, truth, transparency and more all play bigger roles than we’ve been made to believe. Consciousness is the number one transformer of our world.
