Ruger Introduces Super Red Hawk Model in 10mm Auto

Ruger’s large frame magnum revolver series now includes an entry in Jeff Cooper’s classic caliber that is in the midst of a modern resurgence.

Quietly popping up on Ruger’s website without the traditional media blitz common for the company’s new product entries, the fresh chambering for the well-liked Super Red Hawk line of double-action revolvers is a six-shot 10mm that ships with full moon clips which  act as both a speed loader for rimless rounds and aid in the ejection of spent brass.

As with the other entries in the SRH series, the new kid on the block is hefty, tipping the scales at 54-ounces with a 6.5-inch barrel. The overall length of this stainless hogleg is a full foot from the muzzle crown to the heel of the cushioned rubber and wood grip. For those looking to add optics, integral mounts are machined into the solid-steel barrel rib and scope rings are included.
