Our war on terror begins with al Qaeda, but it does not end there.  It will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated.

Americans are asking, why do they hate us?  They hate what we see right here in this chamber – a democratically elected government.  Their leaders are self-appointed.  They hate our freedoms – our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other.

They want to overthrow existing governments in many Muslim countries, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. They want to drive Israel out of the Middle East.  They want to drive Christians and Jews out of vast regions of Asia and Africa.

These terrorists kill not merely to end lives, but to disrupt and end a way of life.  With every atrocity, they hope that America grows fearful, retreating from the world and forsaking our friends. They stand against us, because we stand in their way.

We are not deceived by their pretenses to piety.  We have seen their kind before. They are the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions – by abandoning every value except the will to power – they follow in the path of fascism, and Nazism, and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way, to where it ends:  in history’s unmarked grave of discarded lies.

When the President speaks of the "unmarked grave of discarded lies," is he alluding to something like the Memory Hole? Could it be perhaps the forgetfulness of a neglectful, distracted, preoccupied, or thoroughly brainwashed, American People? How about a list of lies that even this administration couldn't sell? Are "discarded lies" anything like deliberate cover-ups by this White House in collusion with other government agencies?

I don't want to shock anyone but some other Presidents have been liars.

Thanks to Tom DiLorenzo, those of us who no longer wish to worship at the Lincoln Memorial have solid scholarship to which we can resort. But remember, there have been patriots desperately warning us about Lincoln ever since the scoundrel appeared on the scene.

It makes as little sense to hold on to false history as it does to eschew the proper assessment of your future prospects:

Lincoln was a vile man who made war on his own countrymen under false pretenses and didn't care one iota about liberating anyone. He did care about breaking down States' rights in favor of an omnipotent central government. Now we see his political heirs moving further in the direction of his legacy at the expense of our civil liberties and to the detriment of Liberty across the globe.

Is there no way for us to pick up on Presidential Lies Before they take greater and greater tolls in lives and liberty? Is there no way to make the Representatives of the People understand that they often need to protect us all from our own President?

If the Congress is not effective in curbing Executive or Judicial anarchy (and they are Not), how can it be said that we still have Representative Government?

The Iraqis and the Afghanis must be somewhat confused by now about what it means to "make the world safe for democracy. Will Obama or Hillary be able to explain the nuances to them? Bill Clinton used bombing, cruise missiles, troop deployments, and invasions to spread democracy. The House Democrats have been impotent or else have colluded with the Bush war/democracy machine. And McCain is a "tough guy" who shoots from the hip – when he's not shooting his mouth off.

The world may become a safe place for the "democracy" these people have in mind – when they lock us all down in solitary confinement. The most ignorant American does not equate "democracy" with the loss of his own freedoms. But that is exactly what is in store for him if he chooses to remain in his indolent slumber as his tax dollars are used to build and rebuild the Empire.

If you were fooled about Lincoln you may have been fooled by Bush. Lincoln's war was a fraud – Clinton's wars were frauds. Bush's wars are also frauds. Obama's wars will be frauds. Hillary's wars will be frauds. McCain's Hundred Years War will be a fraud.

Rule #1 – WAR IS A RACKET!

Rule #2 – If a prospective war has the appearance of legitimacy consult rule #1.

Will George W. Bush be able to keep fooling enough of us to keep himself out of jail?

As you read the President's words, always make simple mental associations with the Golden Rule. What if you were an Iraqi or an Afghani? Would you feel the same way about the doctrine of preemptive war?

A narcissist is devoid of empathy. So why did Bush say, u201CAmericans are asking, why do they hate us?u201D

I don't believe for one moment that anyone ever emailed, snail mailed, or phoned the White House to whine, u201CWHY DO THEY HATE US?u201D

Do you believe it happened that way? How can we possibly believe this man is ever concerned about any other country or people hating us? Who has done more to make people hate us than George W. Bush? If getting people to hate us was the goal the President can proclaim, "Mission Accomplished!"

Do you believe they hate us because of our freedoms – or could it have anything at all to do with perhaps as many as 7 (that's seven) million deaths or more between various US actions in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Do you want to use some lowball numbers from the Feds? Go right ahead. But remember, a Felony is a Felony. One single death caused by "collateral damage" in a war waged under false pretenses is bad enough. But when it is proven that civilians were murdered under Direct Orders based on boldface lies there will be plenty of Felony charges to go around. There could be a whole chain of command saturated with what most of the world still calls War Crimes.

Is this why George W. Bush has already started laying plans to retroactively pardon himself?

If you celebrate President's Day please try to think about the very few that really were servants of We The People Under the Constitution. We have had a few who should have been retroactively impeached and disgraced.
