War on Terrorism threatens the First Amendment

One of the most objectionable parts of the PATRIOT Act is the overboard definition of “terrorism” which could be used to outlaw legitimate political dissent. In fact, the FBI has already encouraged local police to spy on anti-war groups. Now, a a clever college professor is trying to ban the Klu Klux Klan from campus on the grounds that the Klan are terrorists.

If this succeeds look for more leftists to attempt to silence even libertarian organizations by labeling them as terrorists, while neocons will try to do the same to anti-war groups.
