The Police-State Continues Metastasizing

Total homeland security spending by approximately 31 different federal departments and agencies will amount to $68.7 billion in 2013 and will grow by an average of $1.8 billion per year (about 3%) for each of the next four years, so that total spending will exceed $76 billion by 2017, says the federal government’s analysis.”

We could write an entire encyclopedia on the paragraph above (but luckily for you, we won’t!), beginning with why such “spending” will increase given Obama’s — sorry, Osama: I always confuse those two — demise, as well as that of such other luminaries in the unelected terrorists’ world as Anwar al-Awlaki. But instead we’ll content ourselves with noting that dissidents “indefinitely detained” under the NDAA of 2012 shouldn’t expect release for at least the next four years.

Then we’ll ask how often warmongers can accurately predict that their battle will escalate over the next four years. And wonder if this isn’t yet another indication of how entirely fake the War on Terror is.
