Misunderstanding Anarchy

Interesting article points out that one reason anarchy is not taken seriously as a political philosophy is because it is associated with nihilism and adolescent rebellion. As my friend Nicholas Strakon pointed out to me, anarcho-capitalists not only have to contend with the confusion of anarchy with adolescent “rebels without a clue” but also with left-wing “anarchists” who claim that communism and anarchism are somehow compatible.

For a brilliant demolition of the “anarcho-communists” see Murray Rothbard’s article on the subject in Egalitarianism as a Revolt Against Nature.
