Medal of Freedom and Inflated Values

I think that Casey is mistaken in his expressed shock that Alan Greenspan is receiving the Medal of Freedom. We recall that Bush already has given the medal to people like George Tenet (who had one of those “I’m really important” looks on his face when he received it), which means that inflation also has hit the “medal” business.

Since there is no one in the country who has contributed more to inflation than Alan Greenspan, it seems logical that he should receive a medal which has inflated value. Nuff said.
