It seems that a photograph constitutes evidence, and the sheriff of Richland County, South Carolina, is threatening to arrest Michael Phelps for smoking pot. Now, I doubt that the sheriff actually read my blog post from a few days ago, but if he did, I want him to remember that I was just kidding.

And, we have yet another example of government grandstanding in the endless and evil war on drugs. What is worse, an athlete smoking pot or a sheriff arresting people so he can get publicity? I think the answer is obvious.
