As the VA warns that veterans who visited a Georgia clinic over the last 5 years may have been exposed to infection, I can’t help but wonder, again, why anyone thinks that restructuring the FDA will do any good. Both the VA and FDA are government agencies with long trails of problems. There’s a reason the problems don’t go away, but rather seem to get more severe. And giving the FDA more muscle will not address those problems.
