Those national polls that Drudge posts every day mean nothing. What matters is the electoral college, and Romney isn’t doing so hot when we break down the election state by state.

I found myself back at Huffpo’s electoral map today. The election may be pretty close, but using Huffpo’s analysis, which is pretty decent, Romney loses in November, even if he wins every single toss-up state.

Things could change before November, of course, but based on what I’m seeing coming out of that campaign, that seems unlikely. This is a guy who’s been running for president for at least five years and still doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing.
