Economics on TV

June 26, 2010

Writes Dave Kuehn:

There’s a show on History Channel called “Food Tech.” It’s an interesting show, sort of like “I, Pencil” except dealing with food.

My wife commented on how involved food production is, and I mentioned that from an economic point of view, it was a pretty good show dealing with specialization. She looks at me for a moment and says, “It’s always about economics with you, isn’t it?” and I replied, “Of course. It’s always about economics because it always IS about economics!”
