Ukrainians Splitting with Kiev’s War

Europe is indeed showing some mettle for a change, and we can hope that on the question of not arming Kiev it will persist and strengthen.
Of equal or greater importance is that many Ukrainians themselves do not support Kiev’s war on its own people. Draft-age men are fleeing the country.
If and when the U.S. ignores Europe and shows up in Kiev with weapons and trainers, whom will it arm and train? It will be those who are the most adamantly anti-Russian; and these are the neo-Nazis.
