The Obama-Netanyahu axis, despite its family spats, is fused on joint goals. One is Israel’s survival in the midst of a fragmented Arab world. Another is U.S. hegemony in the region. Obama-Netanyahu doesn’t want Iran to be an independent regional power with Syria as its ally. The axis doesn’t want ISIS to plant the caliphate seed and state either.
