The martial law droolers held the “largest security drill in Boston’s history” yesterday, involving a simulated active school shooter drill at a school in Brookline, a hostage-taking simulation and rescue at Boston City Hall, and some other scenarios. One commenter rightfully noted, “This may come off as insensitive, but why would city councilors be a high value target?” which received 4 thumbs up as of this writing. Another commenter observed that the neanderthal S.W.A.T zombies may have been influenced by the 1978 San Francisco City Hall assassination of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk. (I doubt that any of the G.I. Joe wannabes even know that history, but whatever.)
Well, this active shooter and hostage drill stuff is totally insane, a waste of “public resources” (whatever they are) and a waste of time and only effects in causing unsuspecting residents nearby to panic for no good reason. What would genuinely protect people from “active shooters” and hostage takers is ending government’s disarming the people.
