Give Me Your Advice

December 1, 2001

Should we have such an item? Even on a slow day I get a host of emails, and on every day they range from the short and sweet to death threats. I might not include either, but substantive criticism, praise, or commentary, which I’d feel free to shorten for interest’s sake, would be another matter.

Probably I’d use initials to identify the person, and ellipses if I had shortened the item, and not include his email address. Or should we use the name or email address or both? If you’d like to see such a column, or not — or want to send me a candidate for posting — let me hear from you.

And thanks! ~ Lew
