The Latest Benefit of Global Warming

February 18, 2015

It will alleviate malnutrition and starvation in the world.  According to the latest sky-is-falling alarm from the watermelons (“green” on the outside, red on the inside, a.k.a. “environmentalists”), warming reduces a body’s metabolism since you don’t have to burn as much energy to keep warm.  The watermelons say this is all bad, since it will make us fatter and less healthy.  But at the same time, fatter is better for that part of the human population that suffers from malnutrition.  This latest watermelon warning is therefore quintessentially elitist and anti-poor.  Their main concern seems to be the wellbeing of chubby environmental “activists” in D.C. and elsewhere.

By the way, New Englanders must be losing weight by the tons this winter if there is anything to this latest theory from watermelon central.
