The Gestapo-Sorry, TSA Introduces Its “New TRAPR Program for Highway Security Checkpoints”
By Becky Akers

Styling itself after the newsreels that announced developments in Nazi Germany during the 1930s and ’40s, this spoof presents the TSA’s newest evil, the fictional-for-now-but-perhaps-not-for-much-longer TRAPR program. TRAPR extends aviation’s gulag to the open road. Yes, VIPR already does that, but TRAPR actually builds and then proudly shows off the infrastructure while mocking and parodying Our paranoid Rulers.
Catch the clever acronyms and the punning names the filmmakers bestow on the TSA’s goons. I especially appreciate the tacit parallels this parody draws to the agency’s mentors of 70 years ago.
