Kathryn, I’m “shocked”! Are you implying that business and government are in cahoots with each other? You must be “wrong,” Kathryn. The government is here to “protect” us from the big, evil corporations.

Over 20 years ago, back in my dark ages when I was a far left Liberal, one of the books I read that started to open my eyes to the truth about our “caring” Daddy Government was former FAA Inspector Rodney Stich’s whistleblower The Real Unfriendly Skies: Saga of Corruption. Read this book, and you will think twice before you ever board an FAA-inspected commercial airliner again (flown, of course, by an FAA-certified¹ pilot).

¹I am sure that there are many pilots, such as Chesley Sullenberger, who are excellent pilots—despite their FAA certifications.
