More GOP Worthless Promises

In his weekly GOP address, the chairman of the GOP, Reince Priebus, complained about Obama taking too much vacation time, playing too much golf, costing the taxpayers money for excessive flights on Air Force One, and turning every occasion into a photo op. In other words, everything that Bush did. He appealed to whoever watches or listens to these weekly addresses to help elect just six more Republicans to the Senate so that Republicans can once again have a majority in the Senate. Said Priebus: “And I can promise you: when Republicans lead both houses of Congress our priorities will be clear.” They sure will. Just look at what the Republicans did when they had a majority in the Congress for six years under Clinton and for over four years under Bush. It was an absolute disaster. Priebus mentioned that the Republican-controlled House has “passed hundreds of bills to improve the lives of Americans.” He has things backwards. Every bill passed interferes with the lives of Americans. The best thing Republicans could do would be to pass no bills except those that repeal legislation. Don’t hold your breath.
