James Bovard explains some of the disastrous effects of housing socialism in Baltimore as administered by the U.S. Politburo of Housing and Urban Development. Add to that the state’s war on drugs, its destruction of the work ethic (and the family structure) with welfare, and its awful, fraudulent “education” system, and there you have it: The Legacy of Liberalism, as Walter Williams calls it, is a plague on America (and the world). (Not that “conservatism” is significantly different in any way these days).
