Free Omar Khadr
October 13, 2012
On September 29, Omar Khadr, the last Western Guantanamo detainee, was repatriated to Canada where he will serve prison time. He was captured in Afghanistan at age 15 in 2002. Oh, but he killed American soldiers. What would you do to foreign troops who invaded and occupied the United States? I don’t think you would invite them over for dinner and dialogue. So why are U.S. troops viewed differently? Americans sure have a double standard sometimes.
