At Least Young Women in NYC Can Get an Abortion

The New York city council has voted to hike the legal age to buy tobacco from 18 to 21. “This is literally legislation that will save lives,” said council speaker Christine Quinn. Okay, then why not raise the age to 75? That would save an untold number of lives. People that smoked would then be on the way out anyway. But cheer up, if you are a woman in NYC under 21, you cannot buy tobacco, but at least you can still get an abortion.
