Army Values and Standards of Conduct

A woman in the Idaho National Guard has been demoted for running a porn site. She went from “working full time and making $59,000 a year to working one weekend a month and two full weeks a year, making $8,000” so she has filed a tort claim as a precursor to a lawsuit. The Guard’s public affairs officer said the porn site “called into question her credibility, integrity and adherence to Army values and standards of conduct.”

I guess killing people in Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan that were no threat to anyone in the United States doesn’t violate Army values and standards of conduct? I say promote her back to where she was. She was making people happy and not trying to kill them.

$59,000 a year to work for the National Guard? If only I weren’t too old–makes even me me want to sign up.
