All Hail the NYPD
January 1, 2015
The unionized cops are refusing to issue their huge fines for jaywalking, parking overtime, having a drink in public, and a host of other non-crimes. For a time, anyway, they are ceasing the neocon-inspired “high-control policing” that makes everyone’s life miserable. The whole NYPD should be fired, of course, and private organizations allowed to offer protective services at a market price. Security guards for whom you’re a customer, not soldiers for whom you’re the enemy. (Thanks to Chris Ciancio)
