I’m so sorry to hear of Butler’s passing. When I was new to LRC and the Mises Institute, Butler kindly befriended me and we maintained a warm connection despite his busy schedule of writing, teaching, and the many people he corresponded with. And of course his writings were rich with wisdom and compassion.
