I read the above RT article linked on the Political Theatre today. I believe news reports back then claimed the CIA was only able to account for a small number of the few hundred Stinger missiles they gave to the Taliban ever being fired. If I remember correctly, when the TWA 800 “incident” occurred a lot of the original speculation on the cause for the crash was jihadists launching a Stinger missile from a boat somewhere just off of the coast. That was before the “missile shot it down” idea was transformed from official news channel theory to “conspiracy theory”. That theory transformation was driven in large part by a “simulation” of what happened that was created by non-other than the CIA.
