Trump’s Two Campaign Rally Songs

Writes James:

I watched pieces of many Trump 2016 campaign rallies, primarily to gauge the crowds, and in every one that I saw he went on stage to Lee Greenwood’s “Proud to be an American”, a decades-old ditty that whipped the country into a war-frenzy after the Twin Towers fell, then left the stage as The Rolling Stones tune “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”

What I inferred at the time was that this guy is rallying the remnants of war-fever AND giving himself an out that voters will realize eventually.  As always, enjoy the parade…but don’t eat the candy.
