The Youth Vote?

In their new book Running From Office, political scientists Jennifer Lawless and Richard Fox sift through new survey and interview data and find that millennials…loathe politics. They don’t respect politicians. They don’t want to run for office. They don’t want to follow political news. They don’t even want to talk with their friends about politics. Kids today would literally prefer to be a high school principal than a member of Congress.

In my experience, aside from Young Republicans and other drones, this is exactly the view that young people have, and should have. Some, of course, make an exception and read Political Theatre! (Thanks to Dale Fitzgerald)
