How dare he criticize a “sitting federal judge“? When Earl Warren was attacked in the 1950s, it was considered worse than a sacrilege, the state outranking God. Put a leftist pol behind a high desk, and we are supposed to kiss the hem of his black dress. Sure, there have been a handful of decent and wise judges in history, as there have been a handful of decent and wise congressmen. But they are hardly the basis for a general rule. In fact, government judges as a class must be desanctified and exposed as agents of oppression, like presidents, congressmen, generals, and the rest of the gang. Contempt of court is a duty, not an offense.

Amen, brother!  A judge is simply a political lawyer — could we find a worse bunch to choose from?  I’m all for non lawyers as judges, and swapping the robes for football ref stripes.

And, by the way, whenever I hear people say the want to break the unions, I agree, with one caveat — that we break the lawyers unions (the bars) first. Then we’ll see how many of these parasites can even earn a minimum wage.
