Wind farms victim of “atmospheric stilling.”

This is filled with irony. (1) More and more inefficient wind turbines are being built to impede global warming. (2) As energy from the sun diminishes, there is less free (vertical) convection and less wind. (3) The very coarse and/or virtually non-existent horizontal (wind) and vertical convection components of climate models are surely among the primary causes of extreme model inaccuracies to begin with.
