Lew, As a software developer as far back as 1970, I can assure you that software doesn’t simply fail. Every instruction in every computer program has a human being behind it, as does every implementation. If these Boeings failed because of a software problem, a human (or more) caused the problem awhile ago. It’s just now coming to the surface tragically. Blaming software is about as productive as blaming Russians.
