Your entrepreneur friend is correct. The results of the response are likely to be worse than the virus itself (typical government ). What worries me more is the response to the results of the response. If we go into a depression the government will try to fix everything! They could permanently suspend the constitution, take over the economy, all aspects of distribution, health care and energy, initiate price controls, ration everything and centrally plan all aspects of our lives. It wont work but they will try. They will replace Trump in November and try another president but that wont work either. It wont be long after that we’ll start hearing about the five year plan (sound familiar?). All this means LRC is more important now than ever which is why I made a donation today and encourage all your readers to do the same. Thanks for all you do.
