Unfortunately the McConnell bill now being promoted does not simply eliminate PP funding, as the Cruz bill did, but shifts it to undefined “Women’s Health.” Indeed, the official McConnell bill slogan is “Fund Women’s Health, Not Planned Parenthood.” As usual, the GOP leadership never wants to cut the government by a dime.
