Paddock Autopsy and Toxicology Report Review

Writes John Baeza:

Lew,

I reviewed the autopsy and the toxicology report regarding report regarding the death of the Vegas shooter, Stephen Paddock, and found that the intra-oral gunshot wound would have been immediately unsurvivable (he died when the bullet hit his brain stem and other parts of the brain).  As for the time and date o death controversy-the coroner was only dictating what was written by someone else on the toe tag when time of death is referred to as 1200 hours. Many coroners and medical examiners stay away from Time of Death estimates because they are very difficult to determine. The person that filled out the toe tag was not the Coroner. I theorize that the weapon used was not a rifle but rather a handgun due to the lack of an exit wound. That is just my theory and I am not a medical examiner. Bottom line- Paddock died immediately at the time of the gunshot.

I have not reviewed other official reports so I can’t comment on them.

John
