Nyt article

Writes Steve Berger:

A true savior of mankind will produce a vaccine preventing one from reading the NYtimes.  This article is yet more proof of the adage that intervention begets more intervention and the law of unintended consequences. Or perhaps the consequences are intended as the war on virus will go hand in hand with the war on climate. A fear of using public transport will increase traffic congestion and emissions. And with many urban centers still in the throes of restrictive tyrannical lockdowns, ridership suffers a double whammy. But not to worry because the state can bailout public transportation to perpetuate the cycle of capital misallocation and can print another cool trillion or two to combat emissions. Or better yet mandate everyone receive an experimental gene therapy that neither confers immunity nor prevents transmission yet has known and unknown risks.  We are witnessing a true disease of the mind.  Mises University one of the few that can cure that.
